| Core browsing | Choose photos to add; browse by day, month or year; search by date, city or place. Maps use material with reliable location support. |
| Recaps and works | Monthly, yearly, On This Day, same-place, city and cross-year recaps. Save editable Seen works and preview one cover summary image before sharing. Some themes require more material. |
| Accounts and storage | No Seen account. Core records, works and analysis caches stay on device. Local asset backup and restore exclude original system photos. No account-based cloud sync currently. |
| Originals and scope | Apple Photos manages originals. Organization, recaps and sharing do not delete them. A separate original-deletion action requires system confirmation. Recaps are not a complete life history or verified visit record. |
| Optional AI | DeepSeek only; your own DeepSeek API key is required, with fees charged by DeepSeek. Photo understanding separately confirms scope and costs before sending reduced metadata-stripped still images. Text analysis and independent polishing send material under their respective authorizations. AI does not directly rewrite experiences or saved works. |
| Places | No guessed missing locations. Available photo information and valid place corrections support browsing under the current rules. |
